A Change Of Direction...

I found this at The Financial Chronicle and it somewhat opened my eyes.
  • Ignorance of law makes us extremely vulnerable to libel cases. Our website exposes us globally, so the risks are higher. The first rule here is: personal negative remarks about people must be avoided. We will also not report any personal remark by a source or unidentified person about anyone else or any other company. This shall hold even if the source goes on record.
At first I thought, what is wrong about reporting someone said something bad, then I stopped thinking. I had no answer. Then I thought, leave aside the legal implications, I have been doing this sort of thing for sometime now, it makes nobody feel good.

Then I came back to the blog, and reading my recent posts, I find that I have become more oriented to see the darker shade of things. It makes one passionate, of course, but I am not by nature an activist. It is just that my antennae are picking up things that bust the mood.

Okay, I think I should watch myself, stop doing this. It does not help anyone. It might seem that awareness is created, but there are lots of people doing that.

So I feel that for some time, even if the sky falls on the head, I should keep quiet and talk about how good it feels to have clouds swirling round my head.

Be happy!
