Weathering the Storm...

I know what I should do
when caught in a storm

I should sit out in the light
snug in the warm blaze of the sun

and I should weather it out-
the clouds would move

and I there
as ever before

silent and quiet,
warmed by the sun

lit in a tunnel of light.

  1. hope you'd do that when caught in any storm
poetry allows us the alternative; of courage before courage

  2. yes- calm is transient, and more or less always deceptive: that has been my experience.

    Thanks for the comment.

  3. Though I left a comment about posting a poem, I love weathering the strom.
