Thank You Bala, Hi All, And About Thoughts

Thank you Bala for the invitation to post. I'm honored. My greetings to you all.

I'm convinced the content and the strength of conviction of our thoughts dictate our actions, their degree of success, and quality. If our thoughts are consistent, our actions too progress in the same manner.

Merely thinking will not produce an effect unless it is acted upon. We tend to act upon (or withdraw from) those thoughts we think about more than others.

If we can make our thoughts like a powerful cascade of positive direction, our actions will create value for others, and therefore us.

I'm working on impatience at the moment. It has been an old failing of mine which has interfered enough with my actions...aborted them too often from a purposeful direction.

  1. May I bring in a thought?

I find that thinking creates a polarity most of the times.

    Love-hate both live together.

I don't know if i am clear or not.

  2. Thanks SB. It's nice to have your hear as a contributor. Looking forward to more from you.

To me, thoughts define the way we are. That I think is the essence of your post. The more consistent our thoughts are, more consistent we will be in our life.

To make sure that we are consistent in our thoughts we must ensure that our sub-conscious mind gets the right message from the conscious one.

Not always thinking results in polarity but then it certainly does when it comes to contentious issues.

  3. I am also of the view that conradictions exist together. How about training the mind to pick the apt contradiction to suit the situation?

  4. That's right Bala, but thoughts do exist as contrasts. They are always a pair and often we create our own third angle...a blend of the two as per our individuality.

The wise man is able to find the best blend for a situation...he teaches his mind so.

  5. SB (if i may address you so, too),

I have some friends who are psychologically in some deep trouble. Their problem is trivial, when seen from outside. But from within their skin, the problem appears insurmountable. I give them a certain solution, which is logically correct, but they don't see it.

After thinking it over, and thinking about my own thought process, I have come to a certain provisional conjecture:

Which is that the 'I' and the "problem' are the two ends of the same thread.

Suppose I am a very frightened person.

My fear is to do with what I am.

Solutions which point out the external reality do not apply to MY problem, because it is MY problem, ME, what I am, is the problem.

I don't know what this is to do with your original post, and your comment and n.balajhi's comment, I put it in here just to indicate another polarity that comes with thought.

    I am rambling, I know.

    Keep smiling.

    Regards,

  6. That's right Baskar...it happens that way often. What is logical can be illogical to one who doesn't see it in his supposed reality.

Of course, you can call me SB. I'm Prashant, by the way.
