The Singur stalemate

Our last week's poll received 6 in favour of Tata's and WB governemnt adn 3 in favour of Mamta and Singur protesters. The stalemate continues to this date. Despite the positive noises created after Governor's meeting with opposite parties, Tata's haven't budged. Now even Srilanka wants Nano factory in their lands. With increasing competition for hosting Nano factory WB is in an unenviable state. But I blame for them for the current state of affairs. Set back after set back, setting comrades back. Singur, Nandrigram, No confidence motion, and now NSG waiver. Did anyone see Sitaram Yechury or Karat meeting an astrologer? Probably it is time they see one.

  1. lot of talks were done before the factory is halted. like fertile land given to tata and so on.
i sincerely want to know what crops did WB were growing and is popular for. because punjab is famous for wheat, maharashtra for grams and andhra for chilly cotton and rice.
I havent found any cash or other crops as far as i have travelled or heard about.
i wish somebody look into facts and figures so that we know if mamta deserves anything.

  2. That's a good question. I guess there can't so much of hue and cry for nothing. So there must be something in it. Let me see if I can find the answer.
