Crime Wave (more of the same)

The Crime Wave continues...

A 21-year-old woman faces felony charges after allegedly prank-calling her 69-year-old grandmother 45 times in one day, threatening to kill her. The woman faces five felony counts including harassment. A criminal complaint said she told police she was "bored" and "wanted to have some fun."

The woman and a 20-year-old friend, also facing charges, allegedly called the older woman on Feb. 5 and said "I'm gonna kill you," "You're going to die" and "I'm watching you."

They call this prank, and this!

A Lackawanna County man was arrested by Fountain Hill police for sending 72 obscene messages through an instant-message service for the hearing impaired for the fun of it.

Police said Andrew S. Brunell, 24, of Hawley told them he sent the messages because "because it was hilarious and entertaining to him."

...Brunell would type messages on his computer, and the service would then call the desired phone numbers and read the messages aloud, according to police."

This is not exactly a stunt, just some kind of sickness:

"The woman, now 62, first contacted the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department in July 2007 after discovering several items in her clothes hamper were soaked with urine and her underwear drawer had been gone through. She said she had found urine-soaked clothes a week prior as well.

In September 2007 the woman called police twice after finding urine-soaked clothes one day and the next day discovering footprints in her freshly vacuumed shag carpeting.

...In May 2008, the woman found three swimsuits had been cut apart using scissors. In November 2008, she returned home after being gone about 30 minutes and heard the front door open as she entered the back door, but she did not see anyone.

The break in the case came Saturday, when the woman contacted the sheriff’s department to report her recently installed surveillance system had captured video..."

We call this weird news, and laugh about it, but the perpetrator of this crime seems more in need of serious psychiatric treatment than a spell in jail.

But this sicko, he deserves both- probably punishment followed by psychiatric treatment (not that I believe it will help him)-

According to Percival's arrest affidavit, Deputy Sue Clements discovered marks on the woman as she was changing into a jail uniform. She reportedly told Clements Percival was responsible, and later elaborated to investigators that Percival had drawn up contracts "dictating what he expected from her on a daily and weekly basis."

She provided two "contracts" she alleged Percival wrote. These reportedly addressed expectations concerning her hygiene, behavior, sexual behavior and clothing, and spelled out punishments, including belt spankings, she could expect if she did not meet demands.

The woman said Percival became angry at her June 15 because she asked why she wasn't included in a fishing trip. She knew she was in for it, she said, and alleged that later that night, Percival arrived and made her submit to a spanking.

The beating was to entail 50 lashes, but he agreed to split up the punishment, she said, administering 25 lashes with a belt that night.
"(Woman) said she had to count each lashing and tell him 'thank you' after each strike and if she failed to count or miscounted, Percival would start over from the beginning," MCSO Investigator David Harrison said in the affidavit.

You have to go there to read the details of this sickening case.
