Authorities in Louisiana say a man was arrested three times in a little more than a week for allegedly repeating the same crime -- not paying a restaurant bill.

Police in Colorado said a man armed with a 30-inch samurai sword took painkillers from a Walgreens pharmacy.
Investigators said Dylan Lee Suomi, 19, of Denver, jumped over the counter at the Glendale pharmacy, threatened employees with the sword and ran off with an undisclosed amount of Oxycontin pills, The Denver Post reported Wednesday.

We laugh about it, but it seems that Oxycontin addiction is a severe problem.
Michael Jackson had it- "Michael Jackson was "heavily addicted" to the powerful pain killer Oxycontin and received "daily doses" of it and of another pain killer, Demerol, according to a senior law enforcement official briefed on the initial investigation of his death."- abc news.
Sarah Palin's daughter's mother-in-law sold it- "Johnston, 42, was arrested on felony drug charges last week after state troopers served a search warrant at her Wasilla home. She allegedly sold OxyContin tablets to the informants on three occasions this fall, the affidavit states. Police said two of the meetings were recorded by a hidden camera and a microphone."- The Huffington Post.
And an 82-year-old man in Berea, Ky., allegedly was able to take advantage of the weaker sex through trading in OxyContin. Two young women willingly provided him with sexual favors in exchange for OxyContin.
