The cold read, splitsville, texting into a manhole (and suing out of it) & make sure you get your lost purse back.

Five days before,  Scott Adams wrote about cold read-

Readers care about themselves more than they care about just about anything else. I can most easily keep your interest when I write about something personal to you. And sometimes that requires me to use the writer's equivalent of a cold read.

Anticipating your doubts about this, he went on to say,

Right now you're wondering if something so simple would really work. You're a bit skeptical because things that sound that simple usually don't work. And if it were really that easy, wouldn't you already know about it? After all, you're extremely well read. In any gathering, you're the one who seems to know the most about lots of different topics. How can you test the cold read concept for influencing someone to see if it's legit?

One of the recent celebrities have split:

Linda the penguin has split up two male penguins who lived as a nesting couple for six years at the San Francisco Zoo, caretakers said.

Sad to see that it had to be a girl.

Speaking about misfortunes, "A New York City teenager says she was text messaging while walking down the street — and the next second she was down a manhole", reports Fox News. Needless to say, the girl's family wants to sue- I think they should sue the service provider and the cellphone company too, and the person who sent her the message to her in the first place- she was forced to text beck.

And the last news for now, you have a great chance of getting your lost purse back if you kept a photo of your child inside it- at least in Edinburgh, because scientists there lost purses on purpose and 88 per cent of the purses with the picture of a child inside it, reports Telegraph.
